Lonely child

I am a mother of one and will not have any more kids.

the problem is my child is very lonely at 5 years. she only plays with small groups or plays by herself. I can see she is an introvert and i try to put her in activities and play with her at home but it does not help with her personality.
Like me she is very impatient so i need to know what more can i do to help her have a normal personality. she is so shy that if you talk to her you have to ask her to repeat herself in order to hear her.

People tell me she needs a sibling but is that the only solution to get her to be free with other kids and people around?

Children of this age do like to and need to play with other children. It is important for your daughter to have a friend or friends who will come to your home to visit and play together with her. Also that she will have the opportunity to play with them at their homes. It is important to encourage these visits to counter your daughter's feelings of loneliness and her natural introvert personality.

Hi there, taking her to creche or pre-school will help her a lot. She will interact with many different kinds of kids and will make many friends. They tale a long time at creche from morning to afternoon. You cant have another baby due to loneliness of your child. After chreche she will be very tired will only want to sleep you wont see loneliness anymore. Good Luck.
