Q.

Lice?

Help, I'm spitting mad. My stepdaughter of 6 came to spend the two weeks holidays with us and she promptly told us she has lice. Mother never mentioned it at all and never sent anything. My concern is that it will spread to my 23 month son. How do I treat her firstly and secondly how do we prevent it spreading to my son and obviously ourselves.
I'm so angry with the mother for not bothering to mention this.

It is very easy to treat with an anti-lice shampoo. Go to yuor pharmacist tomorrow and ask for an effective shampoo. It is not likely to spread quickly to other family members so get on with treating her-and don't let your step daughter see that you are spitting mad as this is not her fault.
