Q.

Lactose intolerant?

My son turns 2 next month. He always had 4-5 very watery soiled nappies per day, but as his health and weight were always normal, I did not try to find the reason. He is also very content and sleeping through since 3 months. But now I found that when I don't give him any dairy products, the nappies are reduced to one normal nappy per day. And since I started cutting out the dairy - he now has terrible bloating, cramps and diarhoea when he accidentally has dairy. My problem is just that there is so many things in the market containing dairy! I can't seem to find any articles on lactose intolerance on this website and would like some information. Or should I rather take him to our paed for tests?
