Hi there, posted a few weeks ago about my 6month old girl who had severe constipation, I am glad to report she is only taking laxette every other day now and it seems the fruit twice a day together with some veg at night is getting her stomach going. As she had a bowel movement almost every day. Sometimes more than ones a day.

We took her for a 6 month check up and the paediatrician was happy that everything is now progressing we asked him if we can change back to normal formula as we dont really see the difference Novalac IT is making and he said yes.

He just didnt agree of us putting her back on lactogen or was reluctant to suggest it said rather go back on S26 of Similac but the S26 gave her a lot of gas and tummy pains and the Similac made her poo very runny and green.

Lactogen was fine accept the constipation, which wasnt related to the formula.

Can I put her back on Lactogen?

You can certainly try to put your baby on Lactogen 2. Hopefully she should be fine on this formula.Novalac IT is a special formula for constipated babies and it must have made some improvement to your baby's constipation problem.
