Q.

is this rubella?

Hi there,

I noticed my lo has a rash on her face and body and her back. The rash in her face is barely visible and it appears as if it's under the skin. There are no visible bumps on the surface at all!

The body is pretty much the same except that it has a sand paper feel!

She is not feverish, her eyes are not red, and there's no swelling of glands! And it appears as if the rash doesn't itch as she makes no attempt to scratch!

She is as active as always, and even eats same as always!

What could this be?

This is not Rubella as she has none of the symptoms besides a rash. She may have baby measles also called Roseola as she seems quite cheerful and this is a feature of Roseola once the fever has settled.
