My son will be turning 1yr in a two-weeks time. I have been giving him mainly "PURITY & NESTLE" foods as they are ready-made and easy to prepare.

His is very healthy (weighs almost 12 kg), and the doctor has confirmed this for me and told me to keep it up.

However, some mothers have been saying to me that the food that I have been giving him is not healthy. What I want to know is:

1. Are processed foods like the ones my son is eatign healthy or not?
2. I recently started giving him "NESTLE NIDO" for 1yr olds. Should I continue or should I give him fresh milk (the one sold in supermarkets) like others have suggested.

These foods are healthy and safe, but it is very important to establish a balanced diet as a child gets older. Your child need to start eating from the table with you and requires an example of heathy eating habits. After 1 year of age fresh pateurised milk is fine, as part of a balanced diet.
