is it too late to breastfeed my baby???

Hi, I had my baby 8months ago, and wasn''t able to breastfeed her at first, cos my blood pressure was very high and I was on meds. Then when I did try, my nipples were cracked, sore, bleeding and because of all the strss of it all, I didn''t do that much breastfeeding. From the time I went back to work (baby was 31/2 months) I stopped breastfeeding altogether. My breasts still feel heavy though, so was thinking is there a way for me to start again???

It may be very difficult for you to start breast feeding again after such a long break, but it is worth a try. The stimulus for you to produce breastmilk is the sucking action of your baby at your breast. So try to get to your baby to feed from your breast again.
