Routine vaccinations are usually only performed on week days, but you may ask your doctor or paediatrician to assist over a weekend.

I take a day's leave for my babies innoculations, as its a horrible thing to go through, and I like to be with him for the day.

All DisChem pharmacies have sisters. Some work every weekend and some only work alternate weekends. Give your nearest DisChem a call to see when their sister is on duty. It is really convenient for working moms who can only get out on the weekends.

Ackermans pharmacy in primrose has a quick care baby clinic that does baby injections on Saturday mornings. All you will need to do is speak to the sisters there and find out what is needed. The nice thing is that the only charge a consultation fee of 40.00 and the injection is free (like the government clinic they are free up until a certain age)

They are in the phone book - east rand

Good Luck

PS Try see St de Waal as the other St St Helberg is one of those "sweet" bitches
