Q.

Ingrown Toenail at 4 months?

Hello,

My baby boy is now 4 months old and his one big toe looks like it might have a ingrown nail - the sides are red and looks infected. Is there anything I can put on or do?

This is very unlikely to be an ingrowing toe nail at his age. You need to make a proper diagnosis here, so please take him to see your paediatrician.

Hi there. My 4 month old boy had the same and I took him to a foot dr and she said the less you fiddle with the toe the better. I just put some antiseptic ointment on and it came right by itself. She also said to keep the toe nail a little bit longer.
