Q.

INFANT ASHTMA

Hi doctor

I had my son who is 19 months to a specilaist on Tuesday 29/05/07.he was diagnosed with Ashtma.he received two pumps with a spacer,he needs to take the pump every morning and evening.My problem is that everytime i try to give it he screams and pushes the spacer away.Do i force him,holding the spacer over this nose and mouth while i give the pump?will he inhale the medication.please help!!!!

Even though he is crying the medicine will get into his lungs . Try to time giving the puff of medicine when he is going to breathe in each time.
