Infanrix Hexa - part 2

Good day Dr

As per my previous post (see below) when do you suggest i do the repeat booster, should i wait for a certain period of time or can this be done straight away, will there not be any overdose ?

My daughter went for her 18 month vac today. She had Hepatitis A and Infanrix Hexa. My question is this.

Whilst injecting her with the Infanrix Hexa the needle came away from the syringe and only about half of the dose was administered. IS THIS OK !!!

The sister explained to me that the 18 month Infanrix Hexa is more of a booster as she has already had the other three, is this true and will my daughter be covered even though she only had half the dose?

You should wait 4 weeks and then your daughter should have this vaccination repeated. There is virtually no possibility of overdose as it is highly unlikely that any of the vaccine was given today.
