Q.

Infacare Soya

Dear Doc

My boy is currently on Infacare Soya no 2 as he suffers occasionally from asthma and we have realized using soya products benefits him most!

He is approximately 11 months now and almost ready to go on to the next milk stage for 12 months onwards. Would we also need to stick to soya milk as I'm unsure if Infacare No 3 also comes in the Soya variant! Him being 11 months, would we be able to already to put him on the higher stage, would it make a huge difference??

You can continue to keep him on the Infacare 2 to at least 15 months and then try him on a regular soya milk such as those you get in cartons in supermarkets. You will need to give him a calcium supplement when you change over to regular soya milk.Speak to your pharmacist when it comes to that time.
