Q.

In what order do the teeth come?

My son is 14 months old. He has 4 top and 4 bottom (middle) teeth. I was just wondering after those teeth, do the rest come in any particular order? Are the molars more painful - I suspect he is getting some molars at the bottom - gum seems very white and swollen - drooling alot. He also has runny nose and eyes and a bit of a cough. Could this be because of the teething or is he sick?
Thanks.

This is all very normal. You must not compare teething in your child with other children of the same age. Every child is an individual. His teeth will appear in good time. He does seem to be getting his molars now.
