Q.

Immunisation

Dear Dr
My 6mnths baby , was supposed to have been immunised in December 2003, but I only took her only last week.I was told at the clinic that, that Its a waste of time taking it now .Is this true?Does that mean I have to start from the beggining and repeat cycle?I s my child in danger

Getting immunisations late is never a waste of time. The schedules were developed to afford optimal protection at the youngest possible age, but late is better than never and it will still boost the immune response derived from the initial immunisations.
