High temp

How dangerous is it for a 1 year old to have a high temp, of between 38 and 40, and what should you do if the usual medication doesn' t work to bring it down.

Your baby's fever is very high. There must be a cause for this fever such as an ear infection, a urinary infection or a viral illness for example. As medicines are not bringing the fever down, please take your child to be seen by a doctor.
