Q.

High Temp

My daugher 1 yr 7 mths woke up yesterday with a high temp, about 38.7 deg. I gave her Ponstel earlier in the morning and then also a Voltaren suppository at 14:30. Last night her temp went up to 39.9. I phoned the Paed and he said it is a viral infection and that I must give her a luke warm bath and give her another Voltaren suppository which I did at 20:30. At 04:30 this am her temp was again at 38.7 so I gave her another Voltaren suppository. Anyway, what could it be, her tonsils are removed and there are not visible signs of any infection?!

This could be due to an ear or urinary tract infection. Your daughter must be seen by her doctor.
