The most common cause of young children having dark circles under their eyes is the fact that they are allergic children If this is a possibility with your child it is best to have her tested by a paediatrician with an interest in paediatric allergies. It is very common indeed for children to cough for up to 2 or 3 weeks after a recent upper respiratory infection. Make sure that her nose is kept clear by using Salex nose drops twice aday and if the cough is troublesome at night ask your pharmacist for a soothing cough mixtuer for occasional use.
