Try Nystatin cream and apply it at least 3 times a day.

I have used the microwave sterilizer since my baby was born. She is now 10months and has never had thrush thank goodness!
So going back to using that is probably the best thing.

doesnt sound like thrush cos thrush isnt normally painful just very ichty. by 4 tubes of medespor. use it in the evening dont change nappy till morning. stop using wet wipes only a warmed facecloth. use it again in the morning leave nappy on as long as possible. remember even though signs of thrush are gone, you still need to continue treating it for a further 3 days. are you useing milton to sterilise bottles? if yes, rather boil them cos boiling kills the germ that causes thrush. use pure petrolium jelly unsented as a barrier during the day. hope this helps.
