Heat rash

My son is 14 mnths old. When it is hot he gets a terrible heat rash on his chest and the back of his neck Can anyone suggest what to use as he scratches it and agitates it .

Any help will be appreciated

Usually the best advice is to prevent them from getting too hot, by not dressing them too warmly or keeping them out of the sun during the heat of the day. I am not ware of any medicine that will be of benefit.

Hi Mom 1. I have suggested the following to other moms whose baby's suffer from eczema. The doc told me to buy Milkocreem / Milkreem (same thing) for eczema but it works for any type of rash including heat rash. This cream is actually used for milking cows but lots of moms use it for various rashes and skin irritations as well as for tender nipples whilst breast feeding - it is really great. It is available over the counter at any pharmacy and is quite inexpensive. Good Luck!
