Q.

Headache

My daughter aged 8 years old have been complaining of severe headaches for some time now and last night could not sleep. In addition, it further developed to her eyes aching; funny enough, with no fever. I took her to the gp this morning for a full check-up, which turned-up nothing, ie blood sugar, urine etc. The gp prescribed anti-biotic & p/fever medicine.Tonight, she is till crying on/off. What do I do.

There are many reasons for headaches apart from infections. Flu like viral infections and stress related headaches are probably most common, but if it persists it will require re-evaluation especially to consider other more chronic conditions.
