Hi
My 7 Month old got a bad bump on his head (he hit the wall rather hard while crawling). He seems fine, although there is a bump on his head and some bruising. He is eating and not throwing up, and is still active. Should I be worried and take him to a doctor (he his the centre of his head (just to the right of the soft spot, but did not hit the soft spot.

Thanks

He sounds alright to me. Take him to the doctor if he vomits or behaves in an odd way or seems to have pain.

Hi Anon

My friends husband dropped their son by accident in the shops a few weeks ago. Luckily the centre had an inhouse doctor who could see to him immediately. The doctor confirmed that physically he seemed fine and said that if he starts getting alot sleepier than usual or there are behaviour changes, they should immediately take him for further check ups.

He sounds fine, but one can never be too safe and I'm sure a visit to the doctor will put all your mind at ease.
