Dear Dr, i urgent need your advise my child has been forever walking around with her hands in her mouth it has raised a concern to her father. Why do you think she would alway walk around with her hands in her mouth do you think this is a result of molestation? Thanks a caring mom.

You do not say how old your daughter is. This is probably just a habit and it is unlikely that it has anything to do with molestation. As with all habits in children constantly mentioning the habit and telling the child to stop usually reinforces and aggravates the habit. Try and ignore it and she should soon stop putting her hands in her mouth.
