Q.

Grommits

The GP says that one of my sons (3) grommits is busy falling out and nou my son is complaining about earache in both his ears. Can I put some drops in his ears for pain. I am not sure if I can. PS: He has a permanent Post Nasal drip, which is caused by allergies.

You should not put anything into his ears until you know why he is having earache again. He may have infection in both middle ears. He needs to use an antihistamine such as Allecet Syrup 5ml at night and you should use Salex nose drops at least twice a day to clear his nose. Take him back to the ENT specialist who put in the grommets to find out what is wrong with his ears.
