Q.

GROMMETS

My son is nearly 3 and a half now and had grommets put in when he was about 18 months old. The one fell out (the Dr told me when he examined him a while back) but the left ear's is still in. On Thursday night last week he complained that the left ear was sore, but by Friday morning he said the ear was better. When I looked into his ear on Friday afternoon I saw the small white pipe thingy at the back of the ear. Should I just leave it to fall out by itself. He is not complaining about the ear anymore. It still has not fallen out.

Please do not fiddle in his ear. The grommet will eventually fall out by itself.
