Good bum cream-which one?

Hi Hi,

About a month ago, littler one had thrushgave her daktartin, worked like a charm but, due to this she got a very bad bum rash, gave her mycostatin, nystacid, bepanthen, bennets, everything you can think of i TRIED, then I ws prescribed with daktacort, it helped a bit then 3 days later a rash appeared from front to back, so red like it was burnt skin, I also changed her nappies to huggies used for 3-4 days, I called my ped and she said to go back to my old nappies I was using, I used pampers, and to use mylocort, a steriod cream to use after daktacort finished, but my question is, what would you recommend be the best bum cream to use after all this treatment. Really I am in need of advice.

Use the Mylocort Cream [it must be the cream, not the ointment form] to heal your baby's bad nappy rash as recommended by your doctor. Once it is healed use a nappy cream that will neutralise ammonia which aggravates nappy rashes. Try Antipeol nappy cream.

We have a 8mnth old baby and has developed a VERY BAD nappy rash due to teething. We are changing her nappies every hour, she also has been exposed to air, tried Sudocrem and a self-mixture from the pharmacist(containing zink, something for analgesia etc),but nothing seems to work. It's now to such a point where her skin is SO raw!!!!! any advise?? Will a photizo work??

I also believe the Sudocrem is the best, had the same problem with my boy.

Ever since my little one had nappy rash I''ve been using Sudocrem and her little bottom is perfect now! Try it its excellent and you can get from baby city for about R50 which is cheaper than Bepanthen - it lasts a long time too.

Antipeol is the best ever! Expensive, but it works!
