German Measles

Hi there!

Found out on Sunday my 3 year old has got german measles. The rash is not getting better. Is there anything I can do for it? It's going on a week now and Im starting to get worried. When can I send him back to school again?

This is not german measles as the rash does not last such a long time-it usually lasts for 3 days. Please ask your doctor to see your child and to diagnose the cause of this rash.

Hi Doc!

It's exactly one week now and my GP still tells me that it's German Measels... I am going for a second opinion tonight. The strangest thing is that it's itching now and behind his ears he is red and lots of bumps... Also very itchy...

This is normal symptoms for measles though... Or am I wrong?
