oh my goodness I went through exactly the same thing with my baby and tried everything on the market. I think the best medication for it was the buscopan for babies - when she had one on those hectic screaming attacks and pulled her legs up all the time - I just gave her that and it worked brilliantly. Usually she was the worst at her 6pm feed and then it helped her to sleep.
You could also try nestar gel which you buy at Dischem - it thickens the milk but is quite expensive. Baby gaviscon is also an option and you give baby a bit of a sachet in the milk. I definitely found the baby buscopan to be the best by far. Just a tip if your baby ever needs panado or anything like that - do not give anything with a menthol flavour as it burns them like mad due to the throat getting raw from the continuous reflux. Just buy strawberry flavour panado or calpol from 3 months for fever etc. Good luck - let me know if the buscopan works
