A pharmacist assistant told me to put Gambex on my daughters head and keep it there the whole night to get rid of lice and my daughters'' nursery school teacher washed them in it unbeknown to me. Ever since then my daughter has had EXTREMELY sensitive scalp and easy hair loss. I belive that in order to look after children and give forth advise on health products you should at least know your career and research the product .(I refuse to give advise to my clients if I dont know the answers in full, until they are researched!). Doctor, please advise.

Gambex always has to be used with great care and especially careful attention to the directions for its use. This should be in the package insert with the bottle of shampoo. The actual time the shampoo should be left on the scalp is actually only 4 minutes, so the advice you were given is not correct. I do not understand the part about your daughter's nursery school teacher and what she did with the Gambex shampoo so cannot comment about this.
