Q.

FRUSTRATED MOTHER - chicken pox

my nanny was hospitalised for a week suffering from shingles now my 7 month old kid has pink watery pimples that are developing dayly and i am suspecting it might be chicken pox.

what i would like to know is (is it possible that the nanny infected my baby ) ARE THE TWO RELATED IN ANYWAY...SHINGLES AND CHICKEN POX.WHAT CAN I DO.PLEASE ASSIST.

This is the same virus and it is possible for an infant of this age to get chicken pox. In most cases however if the mother has had chicken pox the infant is protected for the first 9 months or longer from getting chicken pox.
