Fruit as main diet

My duaghter is 1yr &  6mnths old. I' m experiencing difficulty in getting her to eat a balanced diet. The only thing she wants to eat is fruit &  cheese. I know fruit is healthy but can 2 much fruit be bad for her?

Eating only fruit is not really 'bad' as such, but young children often develop loose stools due to the high fructose intake.Obviously you want your daughter to eat a more balanced diet. She needs to join the family at all mealtimes. Put the food you want her to eat in front of her and let her feed herself. She should be on a full normal diet now. She will watch the rest of the family eating and will slowly start eating more and more in the way of a variety of foods. Don't try to force her to eat anything and don't worry if she leaves a lot of her food at first. Don't watch her all the time and keep mealtimes happy.
