Q.

Formula milk & constant colds

Hi there,

Does formula milk have any value after a child turns 1 year? Can I continue if he likes it, or try something else like Paarmalat First Growth Milk?

I have heard that milk provides enough protein in the first year, but it changes after that.

Also, my child gets a cold every single month. I am loathe to put him onto anti-biotics all the time, is there any other remedies or preventative measures?

Thanks for your advice.

Parmalat First Growth milk is excellent and children love it, so use this once he is one year old.As for his colds:does he attend a creche? As you know this is a very common problem with babies who attend creches. Give him Reuteri infant drops daily for 10 days per month for 3 months. Viral Choice Junior should help to protect him as well, but he must be 1 year old when you start it.Keep his nose clear with infant saline nose drops used as needed.
