Q.

Forehead line

I noticed a thin line on my baby''s forehead from his fontanel to his between eyes, its been 2 days now, and his eyes look a bit deep, what could it be? is it normal for babies who lost weight? he is 10 months old. Its not very clear but if you careful you see it and you can feel it when you touch.

The line you mention is a normal suture or division between 2 sections of the skull bones on your baby's forehead. This will close when your baby is about 18 months old. However when this line becomes more noticeable and ESPECIALLY IF HIS EYES APPEAR TO BE SUNKEN this may be an important sign that your baby is DEHYDRATED! It would be best to take your baby to be seen at an emergency paediatic unit to be examined.
