Q.

For Purple

Thanks so much for the info on the 15 min breastfeeding issue! I feel much more at ease now. I see you answer alot of the questions posted, are you in the medical field or just a very informed mom :)

Thanks again.

I am glad if experienced mothers can share their knowledge.

Hi,

Glad you found it helpful. No I'm not in the medical field, I'm training as a psychologist (Industrial), so that doesn't quite count.

I'm just a mom who keeps myself very informed on breast feeding. I saw a lactation consultant (best thing I ever did). I had a breast reduction and am still breast feeding my baby (9 and a half months old).

I also have a passionate dislike of old wives tales, and breast feeding is just full of old wives tales. I dispel them whenever I see them.

Good luck, breast feeding is such a joyous experience. I always said I would never breast feed a baby with teeth or who could talk. Well, my baby has one tooth now, and the thought of weaning makes me quite weepy.
