foods for a 8 month old baby

Hi there, my baby is 8 months old in a weeks time. He is already VERY active and has 6 teeth. I am just worried that i might not be giving him enough food or that he is ready for different foods already. He eats rice cereal for breakfast followed by about 120 ml of formula. Then he eats a mashed banana as a snack and has purity juice made with rooibostee between breakfast and lunch. Lunch is 125 ml of mixed veg with either 125 ml of formula or more juice. For snack he has either a banana of 125 ml of purity prunes and then supper is rice cereal again followed by 125 ml of formula. He is very fussy and does not like everything i feed him that is why he gets more or less the same daily. when do i introduce meat and is this a sufficient diet for him?

You can certainly start to expand on your baby's diet now. You do not mention his weight, but I presume that he is gaining weight normally. Look for advice about feeding your baby at:
