Food for 10 month old

My son is ten months old, has a big bone structure similar to me.
His last weight at the gp was 11.5kgs.
He is quiet tall and healthy.

Im finding his nutrional needs to be a problem. He drinks 5 bottles lactogen 2 per 230ml per 24hours and refuses to open his mouth for food. he automaticaly shuts his lips and if we force feed him he cries big time. i did notice his tongue is tied. could that be a problem
i also noticed that any new flavour given to him likea little coke his facial reaction is always shocking at the taste even though he has tasted it the day before.

Fallin asleep is a big problem as he wants to be shaken to be put of to sleep. and even in that sleepy state he can be he wont want to ly on his back. he automatically turns around and gors to slap the headboard and smiles about it.

what to do?

My wife is going bananas.

Your son's weight is well above the average for his age.He is getting plenty of milk but that seems to be the only food he is getting. The main thing here is not to force him to eat anything and he should certainly not even be offerd any Coke at his age. It is important to offer him solids at least twice a day initially and this must be done before he is given any milk. You will need to go back to the beginning with him starting with cereals such as rice cereal and fruit such as Purity apple and pear.Gradually increase the range of foods offered to him. Keep mealtimes happy and peaceful and remember not to force any food on him that he does not want to eat.
