Fontanel

My child was prem & still has large open fontanel, she is now 15 mths & I took her to paed at 12 months & dr also mentioned big fontanel, but was not concerned. When will it close, I read somewhere only around 2 yrs.

The outside time to closure is at 2 years. Many premature babies have rather large fontanelles.
