Flying to Durb with a 5 month old

Hi Doc.

I'll be flying to Durban next week and it's a return flight, I'll be flying in the morning and back to Jhb in the afternoon. I would like to take my daughter with and she will be 5 months old by then, so I would like to know if it's okay for a 5 month old to take a flight.

Thanks

It will be OK to fly with her. Please let her suck on her bottle during take off and landing.

Hello,

i flew last week with my baby girl (only 4months) and she was fine. The only thing that you MUST DO is to ensure that she sucks on a dummy/bottle/breast during take off and landing. This is very important because it helps with the change in altitude (with their little ears)
Enjoy your flight
