Q.

fluid in middle ear

My son is 3 months old and at his check up I was told he has some fluid in both ears. He was prescribed flexonaze and an oral antihistamine. Suggested to try for a month and then see. Should I wait that long or is it better to see an ENT now? How can the fluid be cleared from his ears?

This is very early to have this problem. He is too young for Flixonase. The antihstamine may help. Use saline nose drops twice a day. If he is no better after 1 month it would be best to see an ENT specialist.
