Flu and hard stools

My 8 months son is struggling with flu for some months now, he has running nose with green mucus, has some occasional dry and wet cough. The flu sometimes becomes better for a few days and starts again. Of late he has been having hard stools. Any remedy

Have you been giving your baby any medicines which may be aggravating or causing constipation such as Stopayne or antihistamines?Use Salex nose drops to clear your baby's nose and give him a probiotic such as Reuteri infant drops 5 drops daily for 10 days.It may help to chnge his formula to a casein rich formula more suited to babies with constipation such as Lactogen2.
