Q.

FIRST TIME TO CRECHE

My daughter is 2yrs and 6 months. She wakes up at 07h30 in the mornings, takes a nap at 12h30 till 14h30 and goes to bed at 22h00 at night. She'll be going to creche in next week and I am afraid of how she'll react to the new environment. It will be her first time at a creche and amongst other kids. Her class will have 18 kids with 2 adults for supervision during the day. What do you suggest I need to do in order to get her awake earlier in the mornings as well as helping her adjust to the new environment. Is it a good idea to leave her for a full day or only half-day, the principal suggested that I should fetch her early from the creche for 3 days and thereafter leave her there for full days. Your little girl seems to be going to bed very late-did you really mean that she goes to sleep at 10pm?This could be the reason why she wakes up at 7:30 am. You are obviously going to have to sort this out. I agree with the creche principal. Follow her advice, she is obviously very experienced.
