Feeding at 4 months

Hi Doc, i have been adviced by my paed and know very well that we should avoid feeding until 6months, especially since my 4month old boy was refluxed. But now he has totally lost interest in the bottle and breastfeeds only at night and very little during the day. during the day he just does not drink sufficiently. im worried that he is not getting enough, and im back to work next week, which means no breast and yet he is refusing the bottle. i feed him at 3-4hours interval, nan1 150ml-175ml. He weighed 6.8kg at 14weeks, head holds up well and atempting to sit on his own. Could it be time for solids and should i rather wait.

You can certainly start your baby on solids now, but the issue really is that he is taking very little milk. It may be that he does not like his present formula. It would be worthwhile trying him on NAN Pelargon which has a yoghurt-like taste which many babies like.
