Q.

Feeding

Please help a first time Mum. My baby is 3 weeks old and my Paediatrician told me at his birth that I should demand feed. So when he wakes up and tries to eat his fingers and drools everywhere, I feed him. This varies between half an hour and every three hours. Do you think this is OK? I am just concerned because another Mum told me I am overfeeding him.....

Secondly, when can I introduce boiled water and cooled rooibos tea in a bottle?

Thank you in advance.

He should be exclusively breast fed for the first 6 months if all goes well. You seem to be doing the right thing with his feeds.
