Excessively dry skin on a two year old

My son is 2 yrs 7 months , his skin is excessively dry to a point that his head also has dandruff, i've tried Aquaeous cream mixed with Baby oil, it does not help, within no time it is dry again. Is it a condition that requires a doctor or should i apply cream from the chemist and which cream should i buy? This condition came after he reacted to an antibiotic for cough, where he developed rash( i used some ointments) and it disappeared and then the dryness started. Why should i do?

Try Epimax as a miosturiser after bathing him. Add a little Oilatum Bath Oil to his bath.If this does not help he should be seen by a dermatologist.

or epimax, also excellent, we use it for my daughter who has eczema on the dermatologist's advise, it really works, can get it from the pharmacy, keeps the skin moist and the eczema at bay

My daugher, 2 years and 4 months, also has very dry skin. I wash her in Epizone E and then apply Epizone A cream to her before I dress her. I do this every night and it really makes a big difference, her skin is lovely and soft. I have been using the Epizone E and A since she was about a year, it is specifically for dry skin. You can buy it at Clicks or any Chemist. Hope it helps!
