Q.

Excessive sweating in 24 month old

Hi, I read a previous posting where you stated that it was normal for some children to sweat excessively. I am however very concerned re my daughter who is now 24 months old. At night when she sleeps, her hair, face and neck aes soaking wet, it is so bad that her pillow gets wet and I need to turn it around. She sleeps in very think short summer pjyamas and I only ever put a single layer cotton sheet over her. I spoke to a pharmacist last night and they said that this is not normal and suggested that I take her to see her paediatrician. What is your comments and advice. Thanks

I still maintain that this is quite normal in young children, but if you are concerned you should see your paediatrician.
