epilepsy and breast feeding

hi, all i'm new on the site just a quick question to anyone.i'm now 27wks pregnant and epiletic, i'm taking tegretol 200mg daily on tuesday i went for regular check ups and asked the doctor if i will be able to breast feed, he said he does not see anything wrong about it but he will do some reseach, but according to him if the medication is okay for the unborn baby it should also be okay for her when she is born but now she is not that sure. please help i'm so looking forward to breast feed i'll do anything to breast feed
