Q.

Dankie

My baba uses Nuk bottles which are great. I have started to use the Pigeon Mag Mag feeding cup (comes with teat, spout, straw) which are excellent. Doesn't leak and easy for baba to hold himself.

i use avent bottles and have the same problemwith one of the bottles and a friend gave me this advise-when it leaks turn the cap off and wipe bottle and cap dry and reseal, not to tight.how old is your baby? did you know that all avents pieces are interchangable?you can simply buy the spouts and handles and put them on your bottles ,it really does save a few rands,my baby has been on a spout from 4 months and it is alot easier to wean!

Hi,

I had no problem with Avent bottles leaking. The cap creates a seal, so as long as the cap is on they shouldn't leak. You do get sealing discs though (packs of 6 at chemists and baby shops) for keeping expressed breast milk (where you don't have a teat on the bottle), why not get some of those and seal the bottles with that when not in use.

My baby refused to drink from an avent bottle and will only use New Nuk. My baby also couldn't use the avent cups as he didn't know he had to suck on them. I just give his water in a normal cup (without a spout) and he slurps it up.
