Q.

Eglonyl, sleep/vomit 1 month old, re 858

Problems with my baby started before I took Eglonyl - but will leave it and see if it helps.
Baby seems to wake because of abdominal pain and has a little ? (must use a cloth nappy to catch it up, it is not curdled usually, but milk) vomit with each feed, ever needing to burp, never settling or sleeping for more than half an hour at a time during the day.
(but at night sleeping well for 5-6 hours for the first stretch)

I am starting to think it is reflux, after reading other questions. If it is, what do you do when breastfeeding (no special milk?)

Thank you for your valued help.

This is definitely reflux. Ask your paediatrician to see your baby. Very effective treatment is available.

Like I said with your previous post - it sound just like my little one and he has reflux. You must go to your pead to prescribe a good reflux medicine. My boy also slept very good throughout the night but during the day he rarely slept. He brought up milk with every feed - which only started when I switch over to formula. While I breastfed he cried a lot and arched his back while crying - like in pain. He also slept only for 10 minutes or so and started screaming again. My baby is on Nexiam - you give it before the first morning feed. Just a tip: it is difficult to give the reflux medicine - mix it with a little bit of your breast milk and when he is little bit older you can mix with a little bit Purity - I use banana Purity which works really well.
