My 5.3 months son has eczema, he was given Elidel at 6 weeks AP with Paed. The eczema came back after the cream was finished. I use aqueos cream to bathe him, and Mylocort. It does not seem to help. I am more concerned with the itching, what can I use? The eczema is mostly on face and neck.

He also is on NAN HA after recommendation by PAED at 6 week AP, can I move him to regular NAN when he gets to 6 months?

Unfortunately itching is one of the main problems with eczema.Babies with eczema very often are allergic to milk. This is why your paediatrician put him on NAN HA which is a low allergy formula. It seems that your baby does not respond well to tretament with low strength cortisone ointments such as the Mylocort you are using. He does better on Elidel so he should go back onto this treatment if it helps him.If his rash can be cleared his itching will stop.Use Epizone E to bath him instead of soap and afterwards use a moisturiser such as Epimax Junior.
