Q.

Eating

Hello Prof,

My little girl (7 months 2 weeks) is going through a phase (I hope it is a phase) - she just doesn't want to eat her food!

She used to love her veggies (home cooked) - now she just refuses. She will eat Yoghurt, but everything else is a fight.

Should I "force feed" her to get her to eat, or just leave her, knowing she is not eating enough food?!

Thank you

Do not force feed her, in any case she simply won't eat any solids she does'nt like. At her age her milk is still her primary source of nutrition. Take a step back for a few days and only give her her yoghurt as well as her formula. She will settle down soon and start eating solids again. Make sure that any solids you give her are very finely mashed.

I seem to have the opposite problem with my 7 month old. She's going off her milk but loving her food!
