Q.

Ears seems itchy

My 6 month old is constantly touching her ears. It does not seem however that they are sore as I will touch them lightly and try scratch the outside for her and she does not cry when I do this. She has also not had any fever and does no seem niggly. Could it be thrush or is it an infection that I need to treat.
I have heard that ear infections can go undetected with no symptoms and prolonged infections can cause loss of hearing. Is this so?
Do you think I need to have her checked by a DR or just give her some interflora?

Theis sounds quite normal as many infants seem to like playing with and pulling at their ears. There is nothing to suggest that your baby is ill in any way.
